Quiet slow beach day. It’s nice to be someplace where I can just stop for a while without being interrupted by transit days.
Chania is a modern tourist town and Nea Chora Beach is a modern city tourist beach. It is crowded and hot with clear refreshing water, cigarette butts in the sand, overweight tourists, bare bums, families, teenagers, young couples, glamor, UV skin damage, 10 Euro umbrellas, beach front restaurants. It is noted for it’s seafood which I will try for dinner at the beach with a beer or two.
